Who can resist a good quilt shop? The only problem is choosing materials from the huge choice. This quilt shop is in the lovely town of Lewes in East Sussex, it’s called The Patchwork Dog and Basket and is located in the Needlemakers which is full of lovely things, if you visit Lewes be sure to head straight for it.
The Needlemakers once made Broad’s candles and during World War 1 it was a place were surgical needles were manufactured, it is now the ideal place to look for an original gift or a treat for yourself and also boasts a beautiful industrial looking cafe.
Lastly don’t forget to grab some bread from the Flint Owl Bakery, amazing bread and cakes and an amazing looking shop.
