On a visit to Scotney Castle Garden in Kent I found ten things that made me smile, obviously there were lots more but these were some of my favourites.
A stack of handwritten letters
A painting given as a ‘thank you for letting me stay’ gift
Two thank you notes with drawings, and the words super and splendid
A beautiful old dress found in a trunk in an attic
A lovely old mirror with an amazing frame
Scotney Castle Garden
A lovely old door with hearts
Another lovely door that is such a beautiful colour
Something that has been used lots and not replaced
