A few weekends ago I was lucky enough to go to the Bristol Balloon Festival, I was apparently even more lucky that the weather was just perfect for all the balloons to take off on all three days.

My son had just moved to Bristol and as luck would have it his apartment backed onto Clifton Common, we were out running at 6.30am and all the balloons came down one after another.
My guess is they were just having a short flight on that morning so they could all go off for breakfast.
They are such beautiful majestic things, and very exciting when they come down right in front of you one after another!
It is my sons and my dream to have our own one day.
